A magnificent view of the Thames at Whitchurch/Pangbourne
... look who turned up for Christmas in a Goring-On-Thames private garden. A stunningly beautiful and exceptionally rare partial Albino (leuchistic) Robin. Spotted by landscape gardeners, the owners kindly invited me to try to get a photograph. As Britain’s National Bird the Robin Red Breast is always associated with the holiday season. However, seeing a White Robin in the wild at this time of year is a unique experience that few people will ever be lucky enough to see.
